Jeremiah 33:3 ” Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come (NLT).”
This is the Scripture I have consistently heard whenever I asked the Lord what He wanted to tell me for this new year, although I wasn’t connecting the dots until yesterday. I do love His soft persistence, He gets His point across even when I miss it.
“Ask Me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” is a very prophetic and timely word for right now. Other translations say “Call to Me”; we have a Papa who wants to show us awesome, great, mighty, and remarkable things. All we have to do is ask! He is able to not only show us these things, but He can do them – exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think! We have stepped into a new year, a new decade, a new season and He wants us to ask Him to show us the remarkable things to come! He wants to give new gifts, bring new relationships, open new doors, direct new opportunities! How exciting!
Children, by nature, are very inquisitive. They ask a lot of questions, often the same ones over and over. They do this because they seek to learn, to know, to do. This is why, I believe, Jesus told us to come as little children. To keep asking, seeking, knocking. There isn’t a question we cannot ask Papa. Not one!
Papa is going to blow our minds this year, not only in our personal walks, but our corporate and national as well. He will do new things, take us to new heights, refresh, revive and revitalize us. He has remarkable things ahead, let us be sure to ask Him to show us!
Happy New Year!
